This amazing traditional Portugese restaurant specialises in seafood. The service staff are super efficient and very friendly, even able to joke with a straight face. Ambience is traditional small cosy seating, covered from the blazing sun.

If you are in a group, I highly recommend ordering a variety for sharing. Best options are the mixed grilled fish, seafood rice and swordfish. The fish meat is freshly firm, yet tender. Grilling is slightly oily but it enhances the flavour of the flesh. Take note that most of the dishes already come with rice or potatoes, so there is enough carbo.

Soup choices are only 2 types, either fish soup or vegetable soup. Fish soup is average, somewhat like...

I ate here last year, and I thought the food was great. I came back this year 2025 and I made it a point to eat here again. When I arrived at the door I jokingly asked the person at the entrance why the restaurant was empty, knowingly that dinner does not start until 7:00 PM. That person took it personal and got upset with me, even thought I had explained that I was joking. I decided to stay and have dinner but they made me wait a while to get served. Eventually when I got served the other waiter was pleasant. The food was really good and I enjoyed the view from the front windows. I will question next time if I will eat...

I regret going there. Tables are uncomfortably close to each other, the place itself definitely could use some renovation. They have a good choice of dishes but I can’t say if they are all so bad as my choice finally. I had a high hopes about the fish soup as the evening was very cold and I wanted to warm up with something good - but it was served too hot. There was almost no fish in it - and no taste. I got my second dish while I was still eating the soup so I had a choice which dish to eat cold. The squids were way too salty and potatoes were too greasy. Instead of having a nice evening I was impatient to...

During vacation in Nazare we have visited many restaurants with the rating 4,8 etc. this place was selected at the last day as the closest one. To be true best restaurant from the all visited. Why restaurant with the rating 5.8 and more have no kids menu? A Celeste has kids menu which was important for us. Dishes are huge and testy. All dishes are listed in menu which seems to be rare in Nazare as at many places most of the dishes just not mentioned in the main menu. Prices won’t show you like in many other top rating restaurants. Sweet, cozy like home restaurant.

Unbelievable fresh Portuguese seafood next to the beach. it’s always hard to choose a place in a tourist spot but this is the spot! The seabass has lots of nice flavour from the char and the salad was beautiful with the dish. We shared “the Garrett” but substituted the soup for the fish soup instead of veggie (highly recommend the fish soup). we weren’t super hungry so sharing was perfect and you could definitely share this by adding an appetizer or two (very affordable). atmosphere is nice and service was lovely.
