Nice place, nice location, but too many problems. Good: spacious, clean, modern apartment - quiet, and a short walk to the beach area. Plenty of hot water and water pressure.
Not so good: a few fixes and amenities would make it wonderful - a spare key, a couple of beach towels, bath soap, some spare batteries for the AC/TV that didn’t work. Uncomfortable couch, hard bed, a cheap lamp that fell apart when we touched it. A very misleading sign 10 blocks south makes one think that this is the location (it isn’t). All it needs is a big arrow. There is no sign at the actual location. You are on your own - contrary to the generic emails, there is no actual “host”, or “welcome” or “team” - just a voice on the phone who doesn’t seem to want to be bothered. A polite request for an extra blanket was met with an insulting text. Why was I up at 3 AM trying to figure out why the AC wouldn’t stay on? Why did it take us a day to figure out how to fully lower the window shades? (one reviewer never did figure it out.) etc.,etc. ? Because no one was there to show...
Read moreWe stayed at Feel Nazaré on April 26, 2025, and had a great experience overall. The place is cute, cozy, and perfectly located – just a short walk from the beach, shops, and restaurants. I stayed with a friend, and we immediately felt at home.
The beds were absolutely amazing – super comfortable, and the sofa could easily sleep four more people, which is great for bigger groups. The entry process was very smooth: the code was accessible, and we got the keys right away without any issues.
Still, it had everything we needed for a short stay. The shower was incredible, strong and refreshing after a day at the beach.
Our only real downside was the late check-in time – access is only allowed from 4:00 PM, which feels quite late, especially for those staying just one night. And with checkout at 11:00 AM, it doesn’t leave much time to enjoy the place.
Even so, we really enjoyed our stay and would...
Read moreWe enjoyed our 1 night stay here. We booked last minute and late in the day and appreciated that they responded with check in details quite quickly. The position is on the ground floor with narrow street on each side. Nice neighborhood with a feeling of local. Very central and just a few steps to great restaurants and beach. We found free car parking close by too. The apartment is newly renovated - very nicely done and with good working lighting (not something we have generally had a good experience with in our travels through Portugal), modern, clean feeling. Good shower, nice kitchen (incl Nespresso coffee machine, toaster etc). Only small criticism would be a slightly musty smell (not sure why -maybe just as result of location close to sea?) - but there are windows that can be opened and safely left open to alleviate that and it did not generally bother us...
