Chaminé Restaurant — Restaurant in Olhão

It has taken me a year to post a review for this lovely, lovely 😍😍😍😍😍 family owned and run restaurant in the quaint walkways of Olhão. We loved this place so much, we returned three separate times during our stay in the Algarve. Chaminé is the perfect, laid back, incredibly family friendly restaurant. The entire staff is family and or friends of family running the show. They are all SOOO kind, attentive, accomodating, and incredibly flexible!! If they have run out of something they will immediately find an alternative, suggest and make you something even better than you hoped for. They always remembered us when we would come again, almost welcoming us back like family🥰. It is the perfect place to sit, dine and enjoy a meal after walking around in town.

Outstanding food and superb service. Lovely vibe in the place and you can tell it’s family run. Staff are so friendly and they cater well for children. Great location and plenty of seating. They also accept card payments which is a bonus. We went for lunch and had the Portuguese steak which was served with rice and chips and egg. I had a good meal and a beer here. The Hamberger Brasileiro was tasty, a good amount of food, and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and helpful.
