Wonderful little hidden spot, in the heart of Póvoa de Varzim right by the metro station. With a very clean and modern interior design, it’s a place with great potential. Lacks the beach view of some other spots, however it is far more protected from strong winds (something the area is well know for). Some of the best passionfruit sangrias you will have and I personally really like the Francesinhas here! There are different types of (francesinha) sauces depending on which places you go to but for me this is currently one of the best! All the menu is well curated and really tasty, staff is attentive and friendly. It far surpasses some restaurants and yet it is not a restaurant. From a quick executive lunch to a slow down afternoon, quiet evening or fun end of day / early night… Almada Lounge is the ‘one stop shop’. I have yet, to try something in this place and not like it.

Super atenciosos, simpáticos e com bastante disposição, o que deixa os clientes super à vontade, fazendo-se sentir parte desta maravilhosa experiência. Os cocktails não podem ficar por experimentar! Principalmente para os mais curiosos, sugiro começarem por pedir "onde está a banana". Deixo um apreço especial à menina Juliana e à Teresa. Super simpáticas e sempre dispostas a ajudar, sem dúvida tornaram um simples jantar de aniversário numa memória que nunca será esquecida. Foi a primeira e com certeza não será a última vez. Super recomendo!

Infelizmente, tivemos uma experiência bastante desagradável neste restaurante (dia 5 de Janeiro). O nosso almoço estava marcado para as 12:45, mas só começámos a comer por volta das 14:30, devido à lentidão extrema do serviço.

Desde o início, notou-se uma falta de atenção: demoraram tanto a vir levantar os pedidos que tivemos de chamar um funcionário para perguntar se já não achava que era hora de começar. Quando finalmente os pedidos chegaram à mesa, um dos pratos foi esquecido, deixando uma pessoa do nosso grupo (de 13 pessoas) à espera ainda mais tempo.

Embora entendamos que um grupo maior possa levar um pouco mais de tempo, o restaurante estava praticamente vazio, o que torna esta situação inaceitável. O mais frustrante foi a ausência de comunicação por parte dos funcionários para nos informar ou justificar a demora.

A experiência foi péssima e definitivamente não será repetida. Uma melhor gestão de tempo e atenção ao cliente são indispensáveis para evitar que situações como esta voltem...
