Good food for a fair price. I strongly recomed the "Francesinha" that uses homemade bread in its recipe that, due its smaller thickness, allows to taste all the other ingredients in a better way. Beware if you don't like sweet taste in your food because the sauce tasted a bit sweeter than the average francesinha sauce. It was very good for my taste nontheless. The pizza is nice, the dough was very good wich really shined in the dish and the ingredients seemed fresh despite its nothing out of the ordinary quality. The staff was very nice and welcoming. As for the restaurant decoration, the first room felt a bit like an hall with tables, while the second room was a bit more into the restaurants theme.

Thats how happy i was when the main course came, eventhough it was the wrong order. I ask for medium rare and it came fully cooked, the cheese was so strong that kill the flavor of the meet. The garlic on the veggies was sooo strong , that it overly compensate the lack of flavor on the garlic bread, that we had as an appetizer. In a nutshell, this place might be just good for locals or people who can speak Portugues, because they didn’t got what we order or ask whats so ever, but they gave us an english menu. At least it was cheap, but terrible dining experience. The beer in local in front of this place was the best part of waiting for this place to open.

I’ll start with the good thing- the waitress. She was very nice, very attentive and helpful. The reason I gave them 3 stars is because we waited for an hour for the food! We had plans to do something after the restaurant but since we ended up staying for so long, we had to cancel. We were 5 people and we finally got 4/5 dishes after such a long wait and again they didn’t have the fifth dish ready.. the place was too noisy and packed and the kitchen didn’t manage our order. The food itself was good except for the salmon salad which was too sour. The rest of us enjoyed the food and the price is very reasonable.

The food here was gorgeous and very reasonably priced. Pizzas very high quality, and we had the tagliatelle frutti di mere which was nicer than any we have had outside of Italy! We are only here for a couple of nights but if we get a chance we will come back and try the house special "Al forno" frutti di mare. The team were very friendly and explained the menu to us well. Also it was our first night in Portugal and we had misunderstood the covid rules around restaurants and attempted to enter without a facemask. They were so polite and explained the rule to us in a really friendly way, understanding it was a genuine mistake, and of course after this we wore our masks whenever we were not seated (and at every restaurant we have visited since!). Times are strange and we appreciated having the rule explained politely and very clearly, rather than feeling like we were being told off...
