Definitely the best meal I've had in Portimao.

The restaurant is really closeby to Aloha Hostel & we were intrigued by the amazing smell coming from the restaurant when we passed by.

Menu's in Portuguese but the owner was sooooo kind & patient. She went on to explain and translate all the dishes on the menu for us & even brought out the sausage she used for Alheira À Brás to show us how it looks.

We decided to go with Caril de Camarão and Alheira À Brás with Torta de Claras as dessert. The Caril de Camarão was really good, the shrimp are in good sizes & curry was flavourful enough. The Albeira À Brás was AMAZING, the omelette mixed with the sausage and potato was so so so good. The portion was really huge too - I had the leftover for extra 2x meal. Torta de Claras tasted like melted marshmallow, it's fluffy and it melts in your mouth - just a little too sweet though.

Pricing was really reasonable as well. I absolutely LOVE this restaurant, so bummed that I didn't get...

Authentic Portuguese place! We were the only tourists at the time and you could tell that by the look of the other guests :)

We had to crack down the menu which took a while (ChatGPT comes really handy), but the food was delicious and it was best experience we've had during our stay in Portimao. The owner was really nice and tried to be helpful even though we didn't speak Portuguese at all.

Absolutely delicious food at affordable prices. Red house wine is worth a sin. Bacalhau à brás was simply amazing. The atmosphere is very cosy and perfect for a dinner for both tourists and locals.
