Bella Pizzeria — Restaurant in Portimão

Attended a friends birthday party last night and just wanted to give a shout out. The food and drinks were good but what really did it for me was the staff. We were a party of 18 and there were multiple other tables with 2 to 4 people. Then, halfway through our evening a party of about 20 came in asking for a table. At the time there was only one server and one bartender/server.

Somehow they managed to keep drinks flowing and food came out quickly and hot. As someone who waited tables years ago, I was beyond impressed! Had to be extremely stressful keeping up but they did it all with a smile! Really enjoyed the welcome atmosphere and will be back! Thanks so much Gonsalvo and Luci ( hope I got the spelling right ) the restaurant is lucky to have you both...

This place was renovated recently. Before was called titanic and it’s called Bella. Friendly, sophisticated Italian place. We ordered two starters, focaccia was good but the carpaccio was not real carpaccio as per the image. Was a few slices of dried meat. For main we got linguini carbonara and gnocchi with Gorgonzola cheese. Carbonara was very tasty, probably the reason why I’m rating 3 stars. Gnocchi was tasty as well but the ham on top was too dry and roasted, one could feel the taste even with the cheese. Anyway, the dish was overall ok. Pedimos uma pizza e um carbonara, acreditando que seriam boas escolhas em um restaurante italiano. A pizza estava boa, mas, infelizmente, o carbonara foi um dos piores que já comi, sem sabor algum além do gosto de ovo cozido.

Até então, tudo bem, poderia ter sido um dia ruim na cozinha. Chamamos a atendente, explicamos a situação educadamente e devolvemos o prato praticamente intocado, pois estava incomível. A atendente nos atendeu de forma impecável e foi buscar a gerente para nos ajudar.

A gerente, no entanto, faltou com profissionalismo e lidou muito mal com a situação e com o feedback. Ao invés de conquistar novos clientes, acabou nos perdendo devido ao mau atendimento.

Não conhecemos os outros pratos do restaurante, mas vimos que não somos os primeiros a reclamar do carbonara. Isso mostra que não estão preocupados em ouvir o feedback dos clientes para melhorar.

Apesar de os outros atendentes serem muito educados, não recomendo o restaurante pela falta de qualidade e de interesse em melhorar os pontos falhos. Se você busca uma boa comida italiana e um bom atendimento, sugiro procurar outro lugar, como nós faremos.

Em resumo, devolvemos o carbonara, pagamos a conta inteira e minha namorada saiu sem comer nada. Não tentaram remediar a situação. Em outras ocasiões, gerentes de outros restaurantes não deixaram que eu pagasse a conta e ainda me ofereceram outro prato.

Qualidade no atendimento e no produto fazem a diferença no sucesso...
