My Sushi — Restaurant in Portimão

First of all-location on a map is wrong. It shows that restaurant on the other side of a road from Taffy's,while actually entrance between Taffy's and Green Swallow. Second-my expectations were high because of reviews, and as a result, I'm disappointed. Rice was tasteless, and fish and soya sauce didn't make it better. The size of rolls is a joke,twice smaller than should be. I have been in different countries, and there are smallest rolls. About the meat - I ordered duck and beef, duck was overwhelming sweet and beef- overwhelming salty. This restaurant definitely needs some serious improvements. Last but not least-I'm appreciated for a fast service, but it was quite annoying that once I finish to eat something-waiters coming to pick up the plate,it made me feel they control each my movement. I do understand that it's a touristic area, but I will not recommend...

What an amazing experience! I've been to a vast number of sushi restaurants, from Lisbon to Algarve and it was so good I went again after 2 days to try more dishes.

I really recommend the spicy cow meat, it's really good! They had the best rice noodles, best meat, fresh fish, the best fried shrimp I've ever had, the rice they used in the sushi was also really fresh and the people working there are really good and always paying attention.

Also, if you're going, ask for the duck teppanyaki!!! It was really good and the sauce was so I had to restrain myself.

The price is also on their side. For this experience, and so close to the beach, I would expect 18€ or 20€ per person but during lunch time it's only 12,90€ per person which makes it, in my opinion, the best sushi when it comes to price to quality.

I really do recommend and I'll be back next time...

Our first night in Praia Da Rocha we went here for dinner based on the reviews. "My Sushi" did not disappoint. We will return for at least one more of our 4 dinners while we are here. The staff were very sweet and helpful, explaining the various dishes and the way things are done at the restaurant. When our food arrived it was a work of art, beautifully presented and very tasty. After trying several excellent dishes we were sorry that we could not order anything else since we were well satisfied but everything was so good. We'll definitely return to try some of the dishes we couldn't manage this time and to repeat a few that were just sooooo good. If you don't try this restaurant while in Praia Da Rocha you'll have missed a wonderful opportunity. It's hard to believe that they can offer such great fare for such a...
