I recently had a wonderful dining experience at this cozy Indian restaurant in Portimão. The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming, making me feel at home right away. The food was genuinely authentic, with rich flavors that truly reflect Indian cuisine. I was impressed by how quickly everything was prepared, yet it still tasted fresh and delicious. Prices are very reasonable, making it an excellent choice for anyone looking for quality Indian food without breaking the bank. Got to try this new place last night and it did not disappoint. Love the concept of mixing cocktails and Indian street food. Had a very reasonable prices Aperol spritz at €5 and also my friend had a very good sized Marguerita. The starters and main dishes are varied in taste and price but very reasonable and very tasty especially the pakoras. Had Chicken xacuti and Biryani and lamb madras and all made to our exact level of spice. The service was a little slow for the drinks etc but that's understandable with just one server on the floor all night so he did well to serve us the cocktails and food along with 2 other tables to look after. Have passed this place a few times since it opened. The wife and I decided to pop in yesterday evening.

Lots of traditional choices as opposed to the usual Indians in the area all doing the same thing.

We asked who we presume to be the owner a few questions as we weren't sure what some of the things were. He kindly pointed to the pics in his window to give us an idea etc.

I'll post pics of what we ordered but I'm unfortunately unable to name them. They all tasted great and we finished off with the swirly red things as a dessert.

Very competitive pricing and the beer was ice cold which was much needed in such a warm evening.

Will definitely be returning...
