Talk about a change for the worse.

I used to come here frequently, I went today after not having been for a few weeks and was surprised to see that it was now under new ownership.

The manager told us that everything was different now, so we had to ask what he meant. We asked if they still served the Prato de dia, he said that they didn’t.

I then looked at the blackboard and the menu that was handed to me by him and it clearly stated, 12,50€ menu de dia. I asked him again why he said that they don’t do Prato de dia when the blackboard and menu clearly stated that they did.

He then said in a rude manner that they didn’t have a Prato de dia, I asked him to explain exactly what he meant. Whether they never have Prato de dia (in this case they should erase this information from the blackboard and their menu) or if it was only today that they didn’t have the Prato de dia. I wanted the explanation because I’m a foreigner and my level of Portuguese is ok but not too a native level.

The rude manager became mad and started telling us in a loud voice in front of other customers that he was the owner, he was the manager , it was a new business and he could do what the hell he wanted and liked.

I said that he had his ideas all wrong if this was the way he was going to run his business, he lost 6 customers today and these customers will tell their friends about their terrible experience.

We left laughing at how stupid this man is, I wish him good luck if he’s going to treat his...

E’ situato di fianco alla caserma dei vigili del fuoco di Portimão ed è collegato a questa; probabilmente è il luogo dove pranzano i pompieri di Portimão. Il luogo è suggestivo e l’accoglienza cordiale… quando si arriva al momento giusto. La prima volta siamo arrivati appena dopo mezzogiorno. Siamo stati accolti con simpatia e abbiamo pranzato in modo eccellente a prezzo onestissimo con il menu del giorno. Servizio rapido, portate abbondanti e impiattamento accurato con materie prime di qualità. La seconda volta siamo arrivati appena dopo le 13 e la musica è cambiata. Accoglienza frettolosa, forse per il locale affollato di pompieri e lavoratori. Proposta del giorno disponibile solo parzialmente, servizio poco accurato, ad esempio non c’è stato verso di avere il primo piatto e neppure il pane per non parlare dell’attesa interminabile. Forse servirebbe una prova di appello, ma per il momento sospendiamo...

Das Lokal ist sauber und das Essen auch gut und lecker aber ist kein Lokal für Touristen die auf Schickimicki stehen und kein lärm vertragen,weil die Küche ist offen .

Es heisst "der Feuerwehr "weil es genau neben der Wache ist und da essen eben auch die Feuerwehrmänner ..

Da sind Arbeiter und einheimische unter sich,wird laut geredet und gelacht ,mann kennt sich..

Portugiesen sind oft misstrauisch gegenüber fremden, auch wir sind erstmal nicht beachtet worden aber dann wenn sie merken ,die leute essen ohne sich zu beschwerden dann ist alles ok!
