Pizzaria La Capriciosa — Restaurant in Portimão

Went into this establishment and ordered a kids meal of fish sticks and chips and asked for an extra fried egg on the side (we were then brought out a whole portion of egg and chips which contained two fried eggs and chips). We only asked for a single Egg on the side not a whole portion but we accepted the dish as the server who came across as the supervisor of the establishment told us we would not be charged for the extra chips that we received with the egg. We then received our bill at the end of our meal and were landed with a charge of €12 for the egg and chips altogether. We brought this up with our server who yet again came across as the supervisor of the establishment and he told us that one singular extra fried egg had to be charged as a full extra €6 as it comes in a meal. He also told us we received extra chips on the plate with the eggs to make up for the extra dish which we did not receive at all. The quantity of chips between the two dishes did not differ. So we refused to pay €6 for an extra fried egg as that was absolutely unacceptable. So to reply to the comment the manager placed under the review one of my family members left of this establishment we were not informed of any extra €1.50 charge for an egg, instead we were told it was an extra €6 which is absolutely appalling. We may be here as tourists but we are Irish tourists and Irish tourists...

Excellent service, very nice and helpful and everyone took care of us :) The brightest element of the meal was a delicious briuscetta - You have to try it! The pizza is correct, generally good, but there is no need to elaborate on it. Tortellini Milano was quite surprising because I was convinced that tortellini is a small dumplings and I got patches of green noodles (large squares) in tomato sauce with ricotta - it was very good because it strongly reminds me of my grandmother's...

Ordered the risotto. Now, I don’t consider myself much of a food critic. I just like good food. But the risotto I received in this restaurant was not a risotto. At best it was a low-tier rice dish. It mostly came down to the fact that they used the wrong rice which made the dish very watery. It seemed like they tried to hide the new watery feature of the dish by adding cheese flakes on top but it didn’t really do the trick.
