We booked the Algarve a la carte tour through the Cerro mar garden Hotel representative in Albufeira. Our tour guide was Tom. He was absolutely amazing! His knowledge of the various sites and destinations was very impressive. As we drove from one town/site to the other, Tom would give us in-depth details ( historical, cultural, geographical) and that’s what made the tour so interesting and fun. We took the 2 hour dolphin sightseeing tour in a fast rib boat. The bumpy journey was worth the discomfort as we saw pods of dolphins, jumping out of the water, diving and swimming alongside the boat. It was so much fun, entertaining and enjoyable. Our Portitours captain and guide were helpful, informative, interesting and great fun. On the return journey we toured the local caves, they were beautiful and interesting.
