BE CAREFUL! Always check your Bills! The service is olay until you have a question/complain then the employees are rude! Ordered two steaks and on the bill was the much higher price steak and when I asked why I got the lower price Steak but the higher price one he was annoyed and saying that I am wrong and that it is the correct price. I accepted this and checked this again on my own.... Surprise I was right! After raising this up to a colleague of the guy the only answer was " yes, we cannot do anything" then I walked to the guy and told him that the bill was wrong and he just said very rude "just go to your place and I will come to you!"

After waiting he came and told me once again the price is correct in the Portuguese language (which was a lie) so I compared both meals and told him once again... No the price is same, no matter in protugese or english. He just insulted us and said "oh you are mocking here up, just because of 5€"

*To put it in a nutshell: very rude, and bad service! and you will be blamed if you a raising something wrong up.

What restaurant in 2025 Only serves food with no drinks ???? I am in shock ! You take the conclusions at the end ! Arrived at this place because we saw some decent sofa seats to lay down our little one who fell asleep on the train ride and couldn't wake him up. On arrival the waitress was handing us over the menus just with food NO menu for drinks. When she came to take order we said we only would like to have a drink because we already ate. She then acted like she doesn't understand us and said she doesn't serve drinks, only food. Kept insisting they only serve food although next to us a couple of tables not even full had drinks on them. When I asked her why those people can have drinks she then said food and drinks. I have then ordered the cheapest thing on the menu which was the homemade butter and a coffee which was served in the same attitude. Just shocked with the behaviour in 21st century. Cannot make any comments about the food, we will never know, not to mention we never touched the coffee nor the butter....

I don’t know why this restaurant doesn’t rate higher. We eat here fairly often and it’s one of our favorites.

Firstly, it’s got a nice distant view of the water and offers good people watching. The staff is friendly although it can get busy and the staff is a bit rushed.

The chateaubriand is excellent. It was cooked perfectly medium rare. The server does a nice presentation of the carving and plating. I also really like the bacalhau a Lagareiro. The sea bream is good, too. The grilled octopus is good but we have had better in other restaurants. We always start with grilled Padron peppers—yum!

We are diabetic and the restaurant is very accommodating with alternatives to potatoes, which is very nice.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in the area for an upscale feel but...
