Nosolo Itália - Portimão — Restaurant in Portimão

Went yesterday for a friend's birthday and we ordered a bottle of wine and two Pizza's. The wine came promptly, the pizza DID NOT! I lost track of time but without over exaggerating it was at least 40 minutes, but might have been longer. We sipped the wine to have enough for the pizza. When the Pizza came it was stone cold! And well the toppings (or lack of) including very little cheese looked disappointing for an almost 14 € pizza! Anyway the waiter who agreed it was cold, but didn't seem too bothered offered to have it reheated. Well the wait was another 10 - 15 minutes! I went into the restaurant to find out what was going on, I was sitting outside and asked him as he was passing with drinks if they were making new ones, he said no they are hand made and take time! Well how long does it take to warm up a pizza? I told him the wait over all for the first time and again waiting far too long for a reheat- he said well do you want them or not, I said yes and went to sit down to wait for this reheated lack luster looking pizza. He used the excuse there was just two of them serving, which was true, however inside there were 3 people standing around behind the bar, seeming to be doing very little! I also observed with others that arrived after us, they were served much quicker. Anyway after this wait for a HOT pizza it was exactly the same cold! He was rude and said so you don't want it- I said no. He knew we were waiting for the bill for the wine and ignored us. I put cash on the table for it and left! By the way I was looking at the few pictures of pizza's here today, and they must have changed chef's or something because ours looked nothing like those! We were there during a time before it was busy for dinner. It still took almost 20 minutes to be able to get a waiter to stop by. During that time, without a menu, we noticed QR menu codes on the side of the napkin box. Therefore we picked out items to order by the time the waiter came. The pizza was good. However, the spritz was watered down. We also had really been looking forward to fries. Instead of fries as on the online menu, noodles were served with the mediocre meat dishes. The waiter told us that his boss said they will fix the online menu, and if we want to have some fries, we should have told him and we have to pay extra if we want them as posted on their online menu. They were not willing to swap out for the product that was on the menu we ordered from. When the bill came, we found out they don’t take any cards, and he pointed to the small disclaimer on a different side of the napkin box. That they adhere to, but not their menu. Overall...

What a disappointment! The food was good but one member of staff was horrible. When we went to pay we wasn’t aware that it was cash only,the man was rude and said we should have read it off the napkin holder and we should go to an atm. My husband said he would and asked if it said no cash in English as we wasn’t aware. My husband went to get the cash and while I was at the table with my children the male staff member came and said just so you know our signs don’t need to be in English,I replied that they do if you expect people to realise that it’s cash only he then proceeded to walk off muttering under his breath. What a coward you are that instead of replying to my husband you waited for my husband to walk away and to be rude to me in front of my young children.
