Absolutely fantastic experience with Atlantic Tours from start to finish. We showed up without any hassle and were politely directed to the right queue for our boat — everything was well organised and moved smoothly, which instantly set the tone for the trip.
Once we were checked in, we were handed life jackets and jumped straight onto the boat. The staff were full of energy and made everyone feel at ease — funny, professional, and clearly passionate about what they do. It wasn’t just a job for them; it felt like they genuinely wanted everyone to have a great time.
Our guide, André, was brilliant. He gave us a running commentary as we cruised down the Portuguese coastline, pointing out the various beaches and their local significance. His knowledge was spot on, but what really stood out was how naturally he delivered it — informative without being scripted, and always with a bit of humour thrown in.
The highlight for us was going into the caves. The way they navigated the boat through the rock formations was seriously impressive — you could tell they knew these waters inside out. André also took a great photo of us mid-tour, which was a lovely personal touch.
On the way back, he came over and had a casual chat with us, offering recommendations for places to eat and visit during the rest of our stay. He even said if we needed any help or local tips while in the area, just to get in touch — which honestly felt above and beyond.
Can’t fault it. Professional, personal, and just a really memorable way to see the coastline. Easily one of the best parts of our trip and something I’d happily do again....

We've just been on this 1.5 hours tour, it was entertaining and worth every pennies (or cents).
From the moment we booked the tour, there were emails and WhatsApp messages to keep us informed from Atlantis Tours, even the morning of the outing. This is a company who really make sure the customers are informed and upto date.
The ship crews were knowledgeable and threw in a lot of humours while Pinpointing many places of interests. The whole 1.5 hours went by very quickly, we were not bored at all as some of other boating trips we have been on.
We also had a surprising bonus on the return when we saw a pod of dolphins, at least a family of 5.
Tips: Google Atlantis Tour to find their "office" 😉 and check in. This is along a bit of dirt road by the dock. The meeting point is about 5 mins walk from the "office", but there's free parking there, not sure if there is free parking near the meeting point. Most of the sights are on the left side of the boat, so you'll get the best pictures from that side. You will likely get splashed if you sit at the back.
Keep up the great work, Atlantis Tours, super friendly service, wishing you all...
Read moreWe booked the guided cave and coastline tour. What impressed was the communication. On the morning of our booking we were messaged to say the sea conditions were not ideal and we may not be able to go inside of the caves, safety first. We were given the option of rebooking, a full refund or continuing in the knowledge we may have to see the caves at a distance. We chose to rebook for the following day. On the following morning we again received communication to confirm our booking. The trip itself was stunning and well worth it. The speedboat was new and in great condition and we had two guides on top of the driver. The guides were brilliant, great fun and hugely knowledgeable. They made the trip. They clearly enjoy their job and love passing on their knowledge of the local area. They circulated the boat, spoke with everyone personally and took photos for you. The trip itself is about 1.5 hours long. On the way out it takes about an hour exploring the coastline and going into the caves. I highly recommend this tour. It is also worth spending some time in the town...
