I am a little bit shocked - we ordered one cappuccino and 2 oat flat whites.
Cappucino was great and was how it should be. Both oat drink flat whites tasted bad - 99% sure that oat drink was not mixed before use or been open too many days. Both of the flat whites tasted excatly like that. As our group actually owns coffee shops in Finland and literally drinks coffee every day - we know how oat drink flat white taste.
As a coffee shop owner i appriciate all the feedback (so the feedback can be given to the staff and check if something is wrong with the ingredient) and I was happy to talk to the barista and tell them how coffee tasted :)
Response from the lady with curly black hair was “So you do not like the taste - there is nothing wrong with the coffee” with the rude voice. I told that actually I know how flat white with oat drink taste and told that I actually own coffee shops so I know. And i got the same reply and then without saying anything - she walked away.
Also bagel was not that good.
Shame that the nice coffee shop is not that nice due the staff who can not receive...
Read moreBest coffee in Porto! I have been going here for years as I love the coffee (the latte is perfect, creamy, never boiled), the croissants are just so lovely same as the other baked goods and the breakfast options include overnight oats as well. The cream cheese bagel with samon is my favourite lunch option. You can buy eco feiendly takeaway coffe mugs, and if you bring your own for takw-away it chips off a bit of the coffee price - i love how environemental friendly they are. The vibe in the place is just great, the owners are lovely and super welcoming, making the place a little hub for foreigners especially. What I mostly love is that they are pet friendly and their labrador Pixi is in the shop with them, sleeping near the window. Their coffe and petting Pixie is what starts my morning the...
Read moreWe went there twice, first time everything was great. Second time my husband found a sort of very small worm in his fresh orange juice. The lady there take a look at the creature we pulled from the juice, crushed it in her hand and said it was not a bug. Of course my husband did not continue his drink and even though we finished our breakfast he spent the rest of it pretty disgusted( because he already drank half of the drink at the point) and distressed. As we paid and left the lady was still saying something about how it was not a bug. What can be in an orange juice we ordered and drank inside? Even if it was not a worm (and we both think it was) there was something brown in his orange juice which raises questions of...
