Oh boy, where to begin? Let's start with the menu and it's different translations. Have you ever grilled pork fever (see English translation of the menu)? No, come on in and take a bite out of whatever that is supposed to be. Do you want anything else? You better hope it's something that needs to be roasted like most fish dishes, otherwise you'll hear a familiar ding and slam, once they're done using the microwave to reheat your dish.

Best part has got to be waiting and cooking staff openly arguing with the restaurant's owner. Snippets of some noteable conversations :

Owner: bring out the main course! Waiter: the starters aren't even out yet!

kitchen aid: boss, we're out of breadcrumbs. Boss: Oh, just cut up some old bread, that'll do. Kitchen aid: but that's not the same... Boss: as if the customers will know

....

At least the waiter was brutally honest with his boss, which I've never seen in a restaurant before. He was nice to us though.

Food: 3 / 10 (microwave humming noise) Service: 8 / 10 (-2 for the owner) Microwave : yes Desserts : microwaveable, according...

The worst restaurant i've been to !!! We sat down and they gave us croquetas when we didn't even ask for them and ask us to pay for it afterwards !! On top of that that were too salty and not even warm and costed like 1 euros each for very small portions. Then we had to wait for a verrry long time to get the course we ordered and it was again too salty, the plates and spoons were dirty. At the end he presented us a 20 euros ticket that we had to pay when we only ordered a soup at 1.50 and fish at 12.50. I absolutely not recommend this restaurant the service is really bad and when we tried to tell him we didn't ordered the croquetas he gave us he acted like he didn't understand spanish and he spoke spanish before to...

Seems like they were offering bacalhau à brás a year ago, so Google Maps suggested I go there. No luck - they are not offering it anymore. I asked the waiter to suggest some other fish and got this: bacalhau Nova Era - half the portion for 16.50 EUR. Waiter said it's not very big. Two massive slices of fish, one of them somewhat undercooked and gum-like, all covered in fries with ham and boiled eggs and some Ives. WOW.

Unfortunately, not very tasty. Looks appetizing, but it's not. Probably I didn't know what to expected - because lots of locals were eating there on Sunday. Or maybe I was suggested something for the tourists, I don't know. I just did...

I would give the place negative 10 stars if it was possible. My wife ordered a baked cod with vegetables, but what we got was boiled and tasted wrong. The worst part, after we tasted the dish and pushed it away, for the next hour no one from the staff approached us to ask if the food was ok. I shared my dish(steak) with my wife, and then, when I asked for my bill, a waiter finally asked if the dish was ok. We sad "no". They did not bother to apologise. See the picture and decide for yourself. BTW, the place smelled like an ashtray.

The 'bacalhau assado' was poor - olives were off and the fish tasted blant. Everything was swimming in oil. At the beginning of the meal they brought some snacks which were not ordered - assumingly it was on the house. Well, it was added to the bill at the end. Note: they only charged for the bits that were eaten, but still it is a bit misleading. The waiter seemed nice but smelled of alcohol. Strange experience. Unfortunately, wouldn't recommend this place to friends. On the positive side - the wine was cheap!
