I ate there today. Having ordered the half portion charcoal grilled cod with roast squashed potatoes, I was astonished to receive an enormous portion of cod, thickly topped with olives, raw onion and large sliced gherkins! The aperitif was the only part I enjoyed. I would rather have had a smaller half portion at half the price. The bill totalled over 23 euros. I do not think the food was worth it and left two thirds. In contrast to grilled seabream which I ate in central Porto yesterday for half the price, this was extremely disappointing. I will not eat at this restaurant again. Be warned a separate and more expensive menu is given to tourists. Should...
Read moreAbsolutely perfect! From the moment I walked in enquiring about booking a table or not, perfect English and Spanish from all staff. Friendly, knowledgeable waiters. Polite, clean, eager to recommend dishes and advise you. Also, a great plus, advising when to stop ordering... As in: "if this is for two of you, you don't need anything else, that is enough food for you". Happy to explain dishes and wines at length. Excellent. Great prices, HUGE portions.
