Read moreThis location is strategically situated, providing convenient access to nearby amenities and is within a short walking distance to the river. The journey involves an approximately 30-minute downhill walk; however, it is essential to consider the physically demanding uphill return. The staff consistently demonstrate courteous behavior and exhibit a strong willingness to assist guests. The apartment is adequately equipped for a brief stay. Nevertheless, a significant limitation is the absence of a washing machine, which is particularly critical for travelers with children. Cleaning services are provided every two days, including the changing of bed linens and towels. However, it appears that the floor is not adequately mopped during these cleaning sessions. Read moreWe booked a self-catering apartment here when we'd usually book a hotel if we were travelling to a city. This place ought to be called 'Spotless apartments', they were so clean and fresh. We stayed four nights and, after the second night, housekeeping was sent in to refresh the towels and made the bed, plus give a light clean. We were very impressed with everything and the spacious surroundings made us wonder why we have bothered with comparatively-cramped hotel rooms in cities, in the past. Very quiet in the room and very comfortable. The people on the front desk were also extremely friendly and helpful. Very close to some great restaurants and cafes, the main shopping street, plus right by the large undercover food market which was excellent. Also a very walk-able distance to all the main sights in Porto. All in all, a great place to stay and we...
