Donau is simply spectacular! I recently hosted a special dinner here for a group of 25 people, and the team went above and beyond. Not only were they amazing hosts, but the food was absolutely delicious. Everyone raved about the super tasty Vegetarian Lasagna and the rich Goulash. Crucially, they were also incredibly attentive to dietary needs, seamlessly providing excellent vegan and gluten-free options for our guests. The starters were great, and the sangria was perfectly prepared. Having loved Donau on previous visits, I knew it was the perfect choice for this special date, and they exceeded all expectations. Two visits recently, both equally delicious. The ciabatta sandwiches are hearty and packed with flavor. The chicken is a favorite. The Viennees Goulash is beyond incredible. Such a flavorful sauce and extremely tender pork, with the highlight being the homemade spätzle that allow for a real comfort food dish. Perfect while sitting in front of the café on a slightly chilly day.
