Menina Cozinha — Restaurant in Porto

Lovely food, lovely people and lovely garden. We found this restaurant when searching for a lunch place. It is near traffic-busy rua de restransao but once you step inside this boutique hotel (the restaurant is a part of the hotel) you feel that this used to be a big family mansion. The restaurant is looking over its very well-maintained garden and if you prefer, you can dine in the garden. The lunch is vegetarian quiche or brioche with its self-grown vege salad and if you wish you can have dessert. All very reasonably priced despite it is in the hotel. We have been twice but the friendly chef has never failed! The interior remains as its old days (personally I love its toilet) and we are very grateful that they try to maintain the beauty of old Portian style house.
