⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing experience! Outstanding food, service, and value for money!**
I had an absolutely wonderful time at this Indian restaurant—5 well-deserved stars! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional, especially from one waiter who was always smiling, attentive, and incredibly kind, making our meal even more special.
The food was perfect: we tried the Chana Masala, a delicious curry, and a flavorful shrimp dish, all masterfully prepared and packed with authentic flavors. The naan was fresh and warm, and the dips that came with it were amazing. To drink, the mango lassi was absolutely divine—creamy, sweet, and refreshing.
And to top it all off, we were surprised with complimentary desserts, a gesture that truly shows how much they care about their guests. The prices are very fair for the quality and portion sizes.
Highly recommend—I’ll definitely be back! This place excels in every detail. Huge thanks to...
Read moreIn early September, I arrived for a late lunch with my parents at the hour when most restaurants close (between the lunch and dinner service) but we were greeted by the staff with welcome smiles to sit rather than being turned away. We all ordered various Indian dishes to share and at the end of the meal had leftovers that our server graciously and carefully packed up for us to take back to our hotel.
As we ate and enjoyed the Indian music playing through the speakers, staff members slowly started to exit to enjoy their break before the dinner hour, but Viru, our waiter patiently served us (we were the only people in the restaurant at that point!) and did not rush us at all.
Thank you, Viru, for great service and for allowing us to eat a delicious meal without being pressured to eat quickly so the restaurant could close.
Thanks for a great experience -- I recommend this restaurant! If I visit Porto again, maybe I'll come back and try the Italian...
Read moreHaving seen mixed reviews we still went to Indian Italian restaurant because it was the only local Indian to where we were staying. The service was good and it was nice to have the option to eat earlier (at 6:30) rather than at most other restaurants. However the food was just mediocre. It was edible but had no depth of flavour or real spice. We'd asked for both dishes to be Madras hot but despite the waiter appearing to understand that, both arrived mild. Papadums - not the nice ones - were brought out without asking, so we assumed they'd be complimentary however we were charged for them. Not a big issue as we were going to order them anyway but worth noting for anyone not wanting them. I was also surprised at the cost of the Tarka Dhall; I've never seen one at 10€ or so before, the same price as a meat dish.
So to sum up, an ok experience but not worth the bother when there are far superior choices in a Thai and Vietnamese offering in the...
