Jardim da Cordoaria 🌳 is one of the many beautiful city parks to take a walk in, or sit on a bench and read a book. What makes this "romantic garden" so unique is there are many unusual, historic statues placed around the park. There is also a playground for children and views of the Clerigos Tower from this park. However, the real star of the show is the sycamore trees that line the garden's main pathway seen here, their branches gnarled and knotted, forming a beautiful archway of branches and leaves to walk beneath.

Beautiful place within the heart of Porto. Close to almost all the hotspots in the city, this garden is nice to seat on one of its benches to have a break from the city tour. Full of beautiful trees and fresh shades, this garden is located among several landmarks such as Reitoria Building (University of Porto), Clérigos Tower, Justice Palace, Portuguese Center of Photography, etc.

It is not really big park compare to others, but it is quite comfortable to stay there for a while. It has a playground for the kinds and also a small river. You can relax and refresh your mind here. It is free and you do not need to pay. One things that I do not like, I saw an old man pee next to the tree. Imagine the smell after few hours or days? May be a toilet is needed there.

It is lovely little park in the centre, surrounded by historic buildings and a tram road going through it. We arrived when the rododendrons, magnolias and camelias were blossoming and we loved it a lot. :) Sure there are larger and maybe more beautiful parks, but every one of them has their special uniqueness and you just have to look to see beauty everywhere you go :)

Garden inaugurated in 1865. The Plátano trees are suffering a strange disease, it is said that is because of a bacteria from the other species of trees introduced to the country. This avenue of Plátano flower trees is also one of the element used as ideas by J.K Rowling in Harry Potter.

Jardim pitoresco da Cidade do Porto, tem de tudo a sua volta , mas mal cuidado ,muito lixo e sem cuidado com as plantas rasteiras em suas vias de acesso.Ali tem muito estudantes e jovens ,que acabam nas noites mais agitadas e aos finais de semana se reunindo no Jardim e daí causando mal cheiro de urina.Está em um lugar estratégico da cidade.Há prédios da Universidade do Porto(Praça dos Leões) ao entorno, Igrejas famosas(Coléricos) a primeira penitenciária (hoje Chafariz Portal do Olival) da Cidade e bons restaurantes e etc..Passam por ali, linhas de ônibus circulares , bondinho e ponto de Táxi.A Escola do Exército está ali tbm e o Hospital Santo Antônio e a livraria Lello.Nessas Ruas e Avenidas famosas, logo abaixo dali, vão ao encontro da baixa do Porto, aonde encontramos todo comércio fervente da Cidade e o Rio Douro.
