Original Eco Mercado — Restaurant in Porto

We came here on a recommendation and this place is brilliant! This modern, natural wine bar serves a wide variety of ports and wines and deli food: fresh sandwiches, sharing boards, fish dishes, desserts and coffees. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced- we shared the small meat and cheese board with sourdough bread and it was excellent quality. The server was more than happy to make a tomato sandwich for our little boy which he devoured- juicy, fresh tomatoes and fresh from the oven sourdough. The drinks we ordered- port, white wine and an organic soda for the little one were all delicious. Service was fantastic and we had a great chat about Porto with the lady running the place. Highly recommended and will definitely be back- thanks for a great lunch...

We had no trouble communicating in English. We ordered some glasses of wine and snacks, and they pay attention to every detail.
