Read moreI was really disappointed with this meal. I had booked it long in advance and was really excited to eat here after browsing the menu and reading good reviews. However i felt the food and service were both very much lacking. It was early and the restaurant was not busy at all, yet the servers gave us very little attentions leaving us waiting long periods of time without serving us. The starter was fine, bread was ok but not fresh or anything special, the lobster in the ravioli was over cooked and rubbery. For a main I ordered the fish of the day which was sea bass decided with vegetables and potatoes, I asked for no potatoes but a poached egg instead. The fish came with no seasoning or sauce with some plane broccoli on the side and a hard boiled egg (all very dry and no flavour) I asked for some sauce and the poached egg, the severs disappeared for 10 minutes when I asked again I was told there is no sauce and the egg would come, 20 minutes after that and chasing two separate people I received my poached egg for my now cold fish and broccoli. I can’t believe any chef would be happy to send such a bland dish out of the kitchen and not to allow me to have any kind of salsa / sauce or flavour to improve it. In general the staff were highly inattentive and we felt quite ignored and not at all cared for. Very disappointing as it was to celebrate our engagement and we were so looking forward to a treat meal out as we are bodybuilders and rarely have an off plan meal so we really appreciate a nice meal when we do. I hope this was a one off and they usually have much better food...
Read moreThe place, atmosphere and food were amazing…. But there is a but…
They should have more people serving in the outside. They take some time to serve you and take the order forward.
On top of that, the main guy (the moustache guy) that served us, was, what I use to call, “a smart guy” and he made a lot of mistakes. brought our wine and forgot to served it (waiting time more than 7/8 min); We chose one bottle of wine with the name Dona Isabel (20€) and he brought us one bottle with the name QUINTA DONA ISABEL (of 45€… without confirming if it was the right one - and you could imagine that when the bill came it was very disappointing to understand that); He took long to brought us the coffees , and when i asked him for them he said that they were preparing to come out with the desserts. After all, he brought in first place the desserts and after the coffees 🤷🏻♂️
No comments. With a beautiful and charming place like this you need more and efficient people...
