We found this restaurant by chance after walking around the city with sore feet and looking for shelter from the rain. Very friendly service and a charcoal grill at the back of the restaurant encouraged us to book a table for dinner. We were not disappointed. The food was very well prepared and delicious, topped off by absolutely fantastic desserts. The best of our entire trip to Portugal. During the day, a very friendly and cheerful woman, apparently the owner of the place, was in charge. In the evening, the service was more ordinary, as the owner seemed to be busy in the kitchen. I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our waitress, Beatriz, and our waiter, Diogo. We visited on Friday, September 19th, for lunch with four guests.

The food was excellent; we tried the specials of the day as well as a few dishes from the à la carte menu. The prices are very reasonable.

The service was outstanding—Beatriz was friendly and helpful with the menu, recommendations and Diogo was accommodating and welcoming.

Was looking for a restaurant late at night and found this hidden gem. Literally one of the best meals I ever had. Bread comes fresh out of huge brick oven. Not speaking Portuguese the waiter was so beautiful to explain every detail of their dishes and providing great service. They even made extra bread for me to soak up the sauce of a delicious meat and sausage appetizer. I could not stop eating it so much flavor in the red spiced dish.
