No frills, great value local spot! 1L carafe for €5! There was no menu—we were simply asked if we wanted soup and which fish we preferred. The soup was described as vegetable but also included sausage, with a lovely tarragon flavour. We then chose between salmon, dorade, or bacalhau. Everyone agreed the whole dorade, cooked on a charcoal grill outside, was the best—simple and delicious flavours.

We don't speak Portugese but we got by with basic english, non verbal cues and google translate. It's all apart of the experience! The staff are nice.
No hardcopy menu, just what's written on the board. They had fish and squid on the day. They come with potatoes and cabbage and these were cooked well too.
We ordered fish, squid, a soup, one dessert, a flask of wine and it came to 19 euro altogether.
