Typical Porto restaurant with typical local tasty dishes at very competitive prices. On working days it has for lunch a special menu with several dishes changing daily at very good prices (5.90 Euros), usually savoury and also available for takeaway at the same price. Santa Clara is one of these Porto restaurants that was very common 10 years ago, before the touristic boom, and now are increasingly more difficult to find, for which I give it 5 stars as, it its good to see how there are places still offering cheap food for locals instead of getting much more money...

This was the best restaurant that we tried in Porto. It offers traditional portuguese dishes. The owner/waiter is very kind and helpfull with choosing a dish for you. We ate enormous portions of amazing meals and we came back for more the other day. We would definitely recommend this place for both fish and meat dishes.
