Overpriced, Poor Quality, and Unprofessional Service
Our experience was disappointing from start to finish. Upon arrival, we were seated in an uncomfortable chair, which set the tone for the entire meal.
I ordered pancakes, only to notice—20 minutes later—that a staff member was bringing groceries into the kitchen. This made it clear that not only had my meal not been started, but the restaurant didn’t even have the necessary ingredients on hand.
To make matters worse, I observed the staff cutting store-bought croissants, which were then served to a nearby table.
Charging premium prices for items straight from the supermarket is not only deceptive but unacceptable. The croissants, which likely cost a fraction of what they charge, were passed off as freshly made.
After an unacceptable 40-minute wait, my pancakes finally arrived—and they were a complete letdown. Due to hasty preparation, the batter had not been allowed to rest, resulting in thin, chewy pancakes that were more akin to dry, tasteless crêpes.
For the steep price, the quality was shockingly poor. Even though the presentation was passable, it didn’t come close to justifying the wait or the lack of flavor.
The ambiance also left much to be desired. The music was blaring at an uncomfortable volume, clearly disturbing other patrons. It seemed more like a ploy to attract outside attention than to create a pleasant dining experience.
In fact, the loud music gave me a headache, and leaving the door open only made matters worse (cold wind).
Unfortunately, other dishes ordered at the table were equally bland and underwhelming. It was obvious that everything was rushed and made with low-quality supermarket ingredients, with no attention to detail or care.
In summary, overpriced, poorly prepared food with subpar service. The deceptive use of store-bought items and the long wait times make it clear that this is a place to avoid. For your own sake, spend your money elsewhere.
I wasted more than a hour of my time there and was very happy...
Read moreDon't visit this place unless you have a morning to waste and be disappointed. The stuff was for anybody to make up for underwhelming flavor ingredients and subpar ingredients.
As you will notice from other reviews, this place takes quite a long time to deliver food and when food comes it's constantly underwhelming. Unfortunately, I had the same experience with my eggs benedict taking over an hour to arrive. Once delivered the flavor was so disappointing. I also ordered freshly squeezed mango which was so watered down that I wasn't able...
Read moreThis is a super cute inviting spot somehow tucked away in a touristy area. Great place for a delicious breakfast or lunch (not open for dinner). It’s a teeny restaurant, so you can go hoping for the best or make a reservation. Our yogurt /fruit bowl and egg toast were delicious and the service was pleasant. The only downside were the coffees. We both had flat whites, and they were drinkable but not fabulous. Docking one food star (not an overall star) for that. If they better their beans and/or preparation it would be a solid 5...
