My husband and I came here for lunch on our honeymoon trip to Porto. Although they've only been open for four months, they already have a lot of five star reviews and I can definitely see why. My only regret is not discovering this place before.

It was such a lovely experience eating here, I felt like I was in my grandmother's house: very generous amounts of delicious food. We had the plated shawarma and they offered us a big variety of sauces: zaatar (a traditional spice mix with olive oil, thyme and sesame), shatta (a pepper and onion sauce), thumyah (garlic sauce) and classic tahini, as well as some Lebanese pickles which surprised me for good. Such a variety of delicious flavours!

It's important to note that it's called Padaria for a reason, they make all the bread themselves and you can definitely tell. My husband is Iraqi and he has never had pita bread this good, it's so delicious, so fresh, like, I can't even describe it with words, you HAVE to try it!!

Their hummus is also really delicious, I definitely recommend it. (We liked it so much, we got extra to take away). And we also had the chance to enjoy some Arabic coffee, which is aromatic and delicious (just make sure to let them know in advance because it takes a bit to make). Overall it has a great ambience and you can tell that the workers have a really good vibe going on.

Honestly it's very obvious how much love and effort they put into the food. They also ask if everything is alright and if you need anything else. The service is magnificent, and the owner is a very kind person, it makes me happy to spend my money in such a great restaurant. We got extra bread and sauces for no extra cost, as I said, we felt pampered, it was lovely.

I would also like to mention how clean the place is. The kitchen is open for you to see and everything is incredibly organised and clean, which is always a green flag for me.

In conclusion, it was a beautiful experience, if you're looking for authentic Arabic food in Porto, don't skip on...

As a Lebanese born in Brazil and currently residing in Porto, my quest for authentic Lebanese cuisine has been a long journey. Since my arrival in this beautiful city, I've been on the lookout for a place that could evoke the familiar and beloved flavors of my heritage. My search led me to Yalla Padaria Libanesa, and I couldn't be more thrilled with what I discovered.

Yalla truly delivers genuine Lebanese food that warms the soul. Their Lebanese bread is simply the best I've ever tasted in my life—fresh, fluffy, and perfect. The chicken shawarma is a standout, bursting with flavor and perfectly seasoned. And the meat with cheese manakish transported me back to my grandmother's house, with its comforting and nostalgic taste.

This place is an amazing find in Porto. If you're looking for authentic Lebanese cuisine that makes you feel right at home, Yalla Padaria Libanesa is the place to go. I...

After several days of indulging in delightful Portuguese cuisine, I craved the familiar flavors of Middle Eastern food, specifically Lebanese. Being half-Lebanese, finding an authentic and satisfying experience was paramount. Tucked away in the heart of the city, I stumbled upon an unassuming gem. Their tasting menu offered a diverse and excellent value selection, showcasing the breadth of Lebanese culinary artistry. The freshly baked, warm pita bread was a delightful start, and the subsequent dishes were both flavorful and beautifully presented. The service was attentive and knowledgeable, enhancing the overall experience. For anyone seeking a genuine and delicious taste of Lebanon in Porto, I wholeheartedly recommend...

Our family of 7 was very hungry once we left the Jardins do Cristal and this place is right across the street! We LOVED the food so much! All my kids 5-14 loved it and enjoyed their meals (which is rare they are picky eaters). We ordered so many dishes: chicken shawarma wrap and platter with labneh, kafta n' cheese wrap, fatouch salad, spinach n cheese, musaka a'carne, mutabal dip and their zaatar and the amazing red dip! Every bite was full of delicious flavors. I wish I can learn to cook like that! Plus they were so friendly and gave us incredible service and kept giving us more bread and were so kind to my son having good chat about food and trying new things.❤️ Thank you

Yalla Padaria is a place like no other in Porto, one that I enjoyed visiting because of how cozy it felt. The food there is amazing and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. I tried several things off of their yummy menu like the falafel sandwich, shawarma sandwich, cheese and zaatar mana2eesh, falafel and hummus, the delicious walnut baklava, and to be honest, all of these where undeniably amazing. To the owner of Yalla Paderia, Michelle, visiting your place was one of the best things during my trip to Porto and for that I’m thankful and grateful! 🤍🫶🏻
