The food was delicious and the atmosphere is very nice so close to the sea and the beautiful boardwalk ☺️ We started with traditional bolo do caco, bread with butter and garlic. It was very good: warm, a bit crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. For the main course we shared a fish and shellfish platter for 2. That comes with three types of fish, shrimps, squid and mussels. They also come with a side and we chose vegetables and baked/fried sweet potato. We also tried the lupini beans snack which is very common on the island. For the desert we shared a warm apple pie with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. The waiters are also very nice and helpful when choosing the food. I definitely...

this restaurant is right by the beach of Reis Magos and the water-sports school. it has a fantastic view as well. hence, very popular and often full. Hence, it sometimes you have to wait to get a table or for the food to arrive. However, the staff is very dedicated, helpful and polite. the food is very good. most of the dishes that we tried were great and we always left quite satisfied. The price is also quite reasonable, not the cheapest but not too high either. The foods, the deserts, and drinks have always been great whenever we visited. The missing star is for the owner to hire a couple of more servers during the busy season, because the staff is very hard-working...

A good meal impacted by poor behaviour from management. The head waitress publicly berated an employee, for no fault of his, in front our entire group by turning to us and saying - "These people come here and they don't speak any English and they don't speak any Portuguese. They do bad things." The waiter was from India.

We had asked that food be brought out as it is prepared. This message was passed onto the kitchen who when instructed the waiter to take the food out. It seems the head waitress was out of the loop and got angry and looked at our group and made the comment about the waiter. Was she expecting agreement?

I was loathe to give me money to an environment...

The food here is delicious! From starters, to the amazing portions, to soups (haven't eaten a tomato soup this good in ages) and homemade deserts - it seems like everything on the menu is a must-try! And if you don't know what to order, the most friendly and forthcoming staff will give solid recommendations! We came here several times during our stay and loved every dish we tried. (The Poncha is amazing too!) All in all, a very authentic Madeiran seafood restaurant, with lovely staff and very good food! Last but not least: located right at the sea you get a nice view while enjoying some food and drinks.

We visited this place twice during our time in Madeira, because the attention and the food were so great the first time (and of course also the second time). They have a rather small menu, but great quality. We recommend the pasta and the codfish. The traditional Madeira bread as a starter is always a must. If you are down for a bit sweet after dinner, go for the melted chocolate cake! The service is warm, attentive, and super nice. We could have not been better taken care of. Prices are in line with the rest of restaurants in the island.
