O Italo Pizza Bar — Restaurant in Sesimbra

I am from New Haven County in Connecticut/USA so have high standards when it comes to pizza…. this was outstanding, high quality pizza. We also had two of their specials, one being a fig pizza and the other homemade gnocchi. All the ingredients were so fresh and beautifully blended together. The sauce on the gnocchi was next level. And the tiramisu!!!! Incredible. We were there with my one year old who loved to throw food on the ground, giggle Loud and make a mess with the sauce. Drinks were fantastic too. I ate there two nights.

They were lazy in making the pizza. Raw red onion piled in the middle of the pizza under the cheese.

After tearing only one piece the pizza was cold.

Terrible unsettling kazumba music blasting, staff dancing with each and playing the fool up & down along the counter, lacking awareness of their public appearance.

Kitchen and bar staff making noise like their packing up and cleaning up, clanging the plates and glasses, yet they weren't closing for another couple of hours. Can't even eat in peace.

I sent the pizza back and left annoyed....

Stopped there for pizza and had a really mixed experience. Most of the pizza was great and really one of the more memorable I've had. But my daughters pizza contained red onion - and she couldn't eat it. She always looks for onion among the ingredients and was therefore surprised when it contained onion. None of the waiters asked why she hadn't eaten her pizza and after the meal they asked how it was. We told them why it wasn't eaten and they confirmed that the menu did not state onion. No effort was made to rectify and we left paying 14 euro for a pizza...
