I gave a low rating because of how I was treated when I asked to use the bathroom. There were no public toilets around, so I politely asked the staff if I could use theirs. I was dressed respectfully and behaving politely, but the waiter refused, saying it's only for clients. The restaurant was nearly empty at the time, with just one occupied table.
I understand they’re not obligated to allow it, and this is a subjective matter—but I personally find it unwelcoming when someone who wants to pee is forced to become a customer just to use the restroom. I ended up going to another nearby restaurant, where I was warmly welcomed and also had a great lunch.

But the staff were immediately very welcoming, and sat us outside at a table with a prime ocean view. We had the salmon ceviche to start, which was very good. For our main we ordered the Turbot for two, which by Portuguese standards was expensive (but still cheap compared to US prices), but boy was it worth it - beautifully prepared, filleted tableside, and served with simple sides that really let the flavor of this wonderful fish shine.
