This restaurant is a must try if you’re visiting Sesimbra. As soon as we walked in Hugo was very welcoming and set the tone for our wonderful dining experience here. The customer service and food was so good we ended up having dinner here twice. I definitely recommend asking Hugo/your waiter for their recommendations as the red fruit sangria is a must try as well as the passion fruit sangria. The chicken here is wonderful and when you walk up to the restaurant you are greeted with the delicious smell of chicken grilling on the flames. Every dish we had was spectacular (Octopus rice, chicken, espada (local fish)) Definitely ask for their in house made piri piri sauce to go with the chicken. One of the best simple meals we had when visiting Portugal at very affordable prices! The location is amazing as well as it’s located right beside the Sesimbra boardwalk/beach so you can finish your night with a nice stroll through the...

The service was incredibly slow; it took 30 minutes to get our drinks and another hour for the food to arrive. To make matters worse, despite ordering three chicken dishes, we were charged for three and a half chickens, and the staff refused to acknowledge their mistake.
On a positive note, the taste of the food was delicious, and I thoroughly enjoyed the flavors. However, the poor service and the excessive noise in the restaurant significantly impacted the overall...
Read moreWe had the frango and bacalhau a bras here.
Everyone has been racing about the frango about how fantastic it is compared to normal frango assado.
I did not notice the significant different except it having a lot of bone and not very much meat. Second was the mulho, was garlic based liquid, thats it.
I would have rather gone to a good churrascaria to have cripsy and tender frango assado, batata frita, and a 2L Coca-Cola. I would have saved myself from all this overhyped chicken in a garlic bath and a couple of bucks.
Bacalhau a bras on the other hand was very nice and would return again for that.
Minus 1 star 🌟 for the overhyped talk of the village bony chicken, and long...
