Casa Da Rosa — Restaurant in Setúbal

Lot's of locals eat there so that should be good sign in combination with high reviews right? We have to make order twice - no big deal (girl from service doesn't speak english, german or french), When our orders finally arrived it was separatley with 25 min. difference, bife casa & grilled fish with potatoes. Total waiting time of over then 1 hour (in our case) wouldn't be a problem if there is no lack of owner time management organisation-either you prepare the food or be in front for guests and collect orders, you can't have it both with this kind organisation of work. Regarding to dishes,  meat was not treated well just tough-didn't last marinated earlier, part of potatoes raw, fish was ok. We didn't receive bill...

This place is at the end of my street, I have quickly become my favorite!! It’s so popular that frequently i want to eat here but there are no tables. There are clearly a plethora of local, family run fish places in Setubal, but I keep coming back to this one - and not because of its proximity! Food is phenomenal, the service is top-notch… Multiple people speak English, and even those who say they don’t do,they are just not confident with it. Frequently, I just asked them to bring me whatever they recommend and I have never had a bad meal. In fact, I’ve never even had an average meal. Phenomenal bread, and other outstanding I can’t say...

Não é a primeira vez que comemos neste restaurante, a comida é boa mas o ambiente tem vindo a piorar e hoje foi a gota de água para nunca mais lá voltar. Já tinha assistido a uma ou outra pequena falta de respeito do dono para com a rapariga que servia à mesa no momento, mas que infelizmente desvalorizei. Voltei a dar hoje o benefício da dúvida devido à comida, mas arrependi-me. Chegámos e não havia muitas mesas na esplanada devido ao tempo. Apenas um casal numa mesa e nós pedimos uma mesa de 2 pessoas, que preparam prontamente. Chega posteriormente um grupo de 8 pessoas e o dono e a rapariga que estava lá a trabalhar (jovem, na casa dos 20 anos) começam a prepara-la, a quando da preparação o dono começa a humilhar a rapariga chamando-a de “lerda” e a dizer que “não dava para aquilo” enquanto sorria e olhava para os clientes que esperavam, como se estivesse a ser muito engraçado. Dizia que os mais velhos nada tinham a aprender com os jovens, uma vez que os mesmos só sabiam andar de telemóvel na mão. A jovem apenas baixava a cabeça e continuava o seu trabalho. A falta de respeito para com a rapariga, a humilhação da mesma perante toda a gente, fez-me levantar da mesa, sem ainda ter feito o pedido, e informar o dono que ali nunca mais voltava devido ao episódio decadente...
