Pinga Amor — Restaurant in Setúbal

I am very disappointed. Always loved the food, the waiters everyone fantastic. Today unfortunately didn't like the service they have new waiters that are slow and rude. One guy specifically he try to avoid going to the tables just because he doesn't like to work. I have asked him for a spoon and he went to sort it out the table next to mine bringing new cutlery for the table but couldn't bring the spoon. I had to get up to bring it. I came with my baby he is 11 months old I ask a slice of bread for him and toasted bread for me. The bread for him never came, my toasted bread came same time as the food(22min of wait). The rice came raw! But I couldn't ask to take it back because I didn't want to wait more. In the end I went to pay in the balcony as all the waiters were busy and I told the owner that I didn't like the service and the food that I would prefer to tell him there besides giving a bad review. Well his answers was (we can't manage, everyone comes at the same time. Sorry.) If everyone comes at the same time!! Why he has so many tables than if they can't manage. I was really upset. I am a frequent customer. He couldn't even give a proper apolagie. Really...

If you ever been to something like Baía do Peixe in Cascais - avoid this one at any cost. Very poor seafood experience. Poor choice of seafood. You have some basics only - prawns, clams, squid, few fishes to choose from. When you order seafood pallet for 2 person they serve 2 differently cooked portions of prawns, rather then mix pallet with something else. To make some fake diversity. Everything that is cooked here, can only be liked if you are really hungry and never tried the same but properly cooked. Also nonsense that they serve stuffed crab without any toast/bread to put it onto. When I asked for some toasts that I noticed at other table - I've been told that it can only be served with other position in a menu....

Lovely atmosphere, but unfortunately a very disappointing experience overall.

We ordered lobster, which was chewy, difficult to clean from the shell, and clearly not fresh as advertised and double checked with the waiter, it tasted like frozen produce. The sea pasta came in a large portion, but it was mostly pasta with a few stringy shrimp.

Service was equally poor. We had to ask for the proper tools to break into the shellfish, and when I requested a spoon, one of the waiters simply tossed it onto the plate.

Given the quality of the food and the service, we will not...
