We recently chose to spend a night in Setubal at the Marina Blue. Can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. The owners have put so much love and passion into creating a delightful place. The little touches such as the “message in a bottle” on our bed to a complimentary bottle of wine along with cream cheese and crackers in our room were so thoughtful. The decor is different in each room making the place so unique. Leaving cake on the entry table and having a self serve tea and coffee station set up 24 hours a day - very nice! The breakfast was fabulous as well and beautifully presented. The entire place is immaculate, new and CLEAN! The roof top deck has many orange trees that are presently heavily laden with fruit so you can eat as many as you like. There is a kitchenette available if you wish to prepare your own meals. The view from our room (The Faro was the name of our room) was fabulous. Looking over the port so we could see the ferry coming and going as well as tankers being brought in to berth. There was a great selection of English channels on the tv which we very much appreciated. The location of the Marina Blue is excellent for wandering around the old town of Setubal and also for a stroll along the waterfront. Highly recommend checking it out! We loved our stay so much that we spent an extra night and plan to stay again before we...
