Decent atmosphere, but the food didn’t meet expectations. We visited Bella Rita and ordered four pizzas and one garlic bread (which was more like a pizza as well). The garlic bread was served last, even though it was meant to be a starter. It was okay, but nothing memorable.
Unfortunately, the pizzas were underwhelming. The flavors were very mild – we could hardly taste the tomato sauce or mozzarella, and the dough was quite soft and oily. There was a noticeable amount of grease on top, which made the overall experience less enjoyable.
The outdoor seating was decent, though the benches were quite close together – removing one would give guests a bit more space. Inside, the restaurant didn’t seem very clean. Although there were no customers for around 30 minutes, many tables were still covered in used dishes.

She responded that either I would have to order and pay for a second pizza, or she could give me a plate to pick off the ham onto! The waitress was very unfriendly and not understanding- normally a restaurant resolves this kind of issue free of charge as a goodwills gesture to their client, not making them buy another dish. Waitress was also sweet and helpful. We would have appreciated some blankets though, because like in many other Portuguese restaurants you are not allowed to sit inside with a dog so it did get pretty uncomfortable and cold after a while.
