Indian Palace — Restaurant in Sintra

Even if you look past the filthy interior with old and dirty cloth seats, this was the strangest and worst so called "Indian food" I have had in my entire life travelling the world. If you are Indian, AVOID this place as you may throw up instead of enjoying the food. What I want to convey is that food tastes strange not just bad. Bizarre taste and we tried 5 different dishes as went there with family of 5 and every single one was the strangest flavors and food we have ever had (seriously z not exaggerating at all!) We should have known when we bit into the chicken samosa that was so dry that even drenched in sauce it was difficult to swallow, that we weren’t going to have a good meal. The vegetable korma truly tasted and felt like it was made with prepackaged frozen vegetable and it’s sauce was terrible. Had a great time here when I had cravings for Indian food. I was not expecting authentic Indian flavours initially, but I was pleasantly surprised by the taste of the food. Also, the portions are huge, and the prices are very decent. The staff is quick and courteous. The ambience of the place is fantastic and I loved the aesthetics.
