We stopped by on our way to Santiago and I can tell that I have never had such an extraordinary service. The man who was working there was not only a plain waiter, but made an effort to make our stay in restaurant pleasant and joyful - he was a real host. Ate there yesterday, we had the local menu of the day. It was fantastic, the host was a wonderful kind man. Fast wären wir am Restaurante Bandeira vorbei gelaufen, denn von außen wirkt es eher unscheinbar. Zum Glück sind wir hineingegangen und haben uns für das Touristenmenü für 12,50€ p.P. (ein unglaubliches günstiger Preis) entschieden. Die Suppe war gut und unsere Hauptgerichte (Rippchen, gebratene Dorade, Steak mit Ei) waren sehr lecker. Auch de verschiedenen Desserts haben alle lecker geschmeckt. Ein Kaffee rundete das Ganze z. Abschied ab. Der Service war ganz hervorragend, sehr sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Man sprach Englisch mit uns, hätte aber auch Französisch gesprochen. Das Bandeira bietet eine leckere autentische portugisische Küche ohne Schnickschnack zu einem sehr fairen Preis.
