You should definitely come for the beer, which, however, is really expensive, rather than the food, as the latter is more of a joke. On the menu, the roasted eggplant sounded delicious and special, which left me surprised as I was handed a wrinkled little something that tasted like nothing but miso. The eggplant flavor got completely lost, and the beetroot hummus was served in a quantity that seemed as if someone had accidentally cleaned their knife on the plate – just a delicate stripe (estimated 4-5 grams!! ). Also, please don’t order fries; they look and taste like they’ve been warmed up an indefinite number of times.
We leave the restaurant hungry and disappointed, luckily there’s a really good Italian place next door so we can get another snack. We’re quite sad, as we picked the Bossa Brew House over the restaurant next door, and now we totally...
Read moreBossa Brew House exceeded our expectations, both for the food and craft beer. We ordered the crackling pork to start, and fish & chips and blackened pork as entrees. Fries were hand cut and fresh, pork was cooked to perfection and very flavourful, and the fish was the best we have ever had (as fish & chips), pairing perfectly with the pea puree, chili and jam sauces it was served with. We also had the orange pudding for dessert which was light and incredibly flavourful. The staff are passionate about what they do and have taken the time to source local ingredients and design a menu with refreshing flavour pairings. The owner knows his craft beer - the brews were just as amazing as the food - try as many as you can; you won’t be disappointed! Can’t wait to eat here again next time we...

The quality was rather average, and the lettuce served alongside was not fresh. I had requested the steak medium rare, but it arrived noticeably undercooked—closer to rare.
The ambience is calm and peaceful, which some may enjoy, but as a solo traveler, I found the lack of interaction from the staff a bit disappointing. No one checked in during the meal, and I wasn’t offered dessert afterward—something I’ve come to appreciate in Sagres, where hospitality usually stands out.
Overall, I left feeling underwhelmed. I honestly don’t understand the high rating and, regrettably, I don’t...
