The moment you step in, it’s like the ocean gives you a high-five with its salty breeze, and the cozy, nautical vibes make you feel like you’re dining on a pirate ship made of pure happiness! 🏴‍☠️ The seafood? Fresher than a mermaid’s morning playlist, with grilled bream and stuffed squid so divine, I’m pretty sure they were caught by angels! 😇 The octopus rice is like a warm hug from a Portuguese grandma, and the salads? They’re so crisp, you’d think they were grown in a magical sea garden! 🥗

The staff? Oh, they’re basically your new best friends, serving up smiles and multilingual charm (English, Portuguese, French, Italian, Spanish – you name it!) faster than you can say “more vinho verde, please!” 🍷 The rustic decor, with candles and a fireplace, is so cozy it’s like dining inside a Pinterest board for “perfect seaside evenings.” And the view? The wait staff are not allowed to smile, enjoy their job, or be relaxed in themselves. It made the entire experience uncomfortable. It’s that kind of ‘high class’ stuffy restaurant. Then, our fish was overcooked and vegetables were served cold. The view of the ocean was amazing, and the cod fish creamy dish was delicious. These are the only redeemable aspects of our dinner which is why I gave it two stars instead of one, since the food prices are super high you’d expect perfection, then again perhaps this is the reason why the staff is not happy. Too much pressure spoiled the experience. Seriousness is such a harsh disease to the soul. The only reason we would come back was if the top management taught the staff a lighter celebratory approach to fine dining, and showed them how to work with love and joy instead of pressure and...

Very unpleasant experience, shocked

The fish was dry and quite expensive for what it is and the staff on duty was ignorant and unpolite.

The leadership is non existing in this restaurant as on request, the manager on duty seems to be more focussed on making as much money as possible rather than managing the business.

A guest, who disturbed several tables was left doing so by the staff with the words, I cannot ( or will not) do anything. When this guest started calling names to other guests the manager explicitly did not want to act. We could not enjoy our evening (the food was not good anyway) as the guest kept being left alone disturbing the other guests.

In the end after a two week Portugal trip, the only regret I have is visiting this restaurant. Bad food and people were being...
