I recently had the pleasure of dining at Conchicha, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. This hidden gem offers a delightful combination of outstanding service, fantastic food, and incredibly reasonable prices.

From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel right at home with their warm and attentive service. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, making our dining experience truly enjoyable.

The house wine was a standout – smooth, rich, and perfectly complementing each dish. And if you're a fan of sangria, you're in for a treat! Their sangria is some of the best I've ever tasted, refreshing and bursting with flavor.

Every dish we tried was nothing short of amazing. The vegetable curry was rich and flavorful, the perfect blend of spices and fresh vegetables. The grilled dourade was cooked to perfection, tender and succulent with a deliciously crispy skin. The fried shrimp were perfectly seasoned and wonderfully crispy, making for a delightful appetizer.

The tuna steak was another highlight – perfectly seared and incredibly flavorful. Even the nuggets, often a simple dish, were elevated here, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, making them a hit for both kids and adults alike.

Whether you're a local or just visiting, Conchicha is a must-visit. The combination of superb food, excellent service, and reasonable prices make it a standout choice....

I recently visited Café Conchinha Conchinha after a trip to Cabo de São Vicente, and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The restaurant is located in a charming little corner of the town and has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere.

As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and friendly service. The staff were incredibly attentive and accommodating throughout my visit, ensuring that my dining experience was enjoyable from start to finish.

Now, let's talk about the food. I opted for the cataplana, a traditional Portuguese dish consisting of seafood cooked in a copper pot with vegetables and spices. The dish was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. The seafood was fresh and flavorful, and the vegetables added a wonderful depth of flavor to the dish.

I paired my meal with a cold beer, which was the perfect accompaniment to the cataplana. The restaurant also had an extensive wine list, which I would love to explore during my next visit.

The ambiance of the restaurant was also delightful. The interior was tastefully decorated with local artwork and featured a comfortable seating area. The outdoor seating area was also a lovely spot to enjoy a meal on...

We unfortunately had a bad experience we ordered steaks and chips and the meat was spoiled and tasted sour when we dared to return the food came the cook, who was still angry with us and refused to taste the meat. First of all we were struck by the totally unprofessional reaction of the staff where we felt like getting up and leaving. First of all, the atmosphere after the affair was terrible and the staff just looked at us and shook their heads with the steak, then they fed the dog and they were still talking about the dog eating it too and are we going to compare a dog with people? Why the staff refused to actually taste the food if it was perfectly fine is a mystery. Very disappointing from a human point of view because we only came to eat and not to make trouble once the meat is smelled and tasted I will not eat it for it is common sense and we will still...

Everything we wanted in our last night in Portugal; grilled fresh Ocean trout, Piri piri chicken made with a homemade, incredible sauce. So incredible that we spent half an hour talking with the chef about how she makes it. Who knew!!!! Amazing process involving whisky, rosemary, a month and a lot more. Needless to say you need to try it. This is genuine Portuguese food, along with delicious shots of the local liquors (wow!!), served by people who care about food and enjoy sharing their creations. Highly recommended.
