Chiringuito Last Chance — Restaurant in Vila do Bispo

Your site won't allow me to leave no stars but I would if I could. We came to this place 4 months ago and wrote a good review, despite the awful reviews being left by others at that time. This morning, Easter Monday 2022, we called in again because I was going to buy some shoes and sandals. Well, things have changed once again for the worst. What a miserable, unfriendly, unhelpful and morose bunch of serving staff. Not a smile or hello, or offer of help; what a wretched welcome, and we had driven quite a distance to get here. Never will we visit this place again, and to think it once was our favourite cafe/bar. Whoever owns this place needs to really check on their staff, because with the way it's going you soon won't have a business left. I was preparing to spend a lot of money in your shop, but after a welcome like that I wouldn't even waste my money on a coffee. So disappointed, but never again. We arrived with 5 ppl and the waiter even didn’t say HI! Then he offered us a table for 4 ppl only after special request he provided another chair. The prices are quite decent for portugal. To be fair the view would be worth it if the quality of the food and drinks was good. The Cappuccino (for 2,75€ which is 2x the normal Portuguese price) didn’t have any taste, the milk was burnt. The shakes are quite small and loveless prepared (for 3,90€). The waiter neither asked once if we need sth or if the quality was good. He was more attended by 2 blonde girls that passed by and he was cheering at. + his 2 portugal friends that he was talking with all the time instead of taking care of his guests. The waiter gave a terrible service, he was making faces and rude sounds when we ordered and when I asked the dish without something he didn’t even answer, he just walked away. At first we thought that maybe they had a bad day but I’ve already seen a few reviews stating that the waiters were also rude with them so there’s definitely a correlation. Also, we nicely asked if we could go to the toilet and he didn’t let us. Not gonna lie, although the service was awful the food was quite good but over priced.
