Pizzaria Colombu's — Restaurant in Vila do Bispo

Well. I did not check the Reviews. (I know I should've checked it ) I Entered the restaurant and decided to drink something before eating. Because I whas very thirsty I walked almost hole the morning without drink. The moment I said I will take a cola he said (this is not a restaurant for drink It's Only For Eating ) (these words came from his mouth) at That Moment I decided to just eat a pizza directly With a drink. He gave a pizza with all kinds off cheap cheese on it (it looked like it whas just heated up in the microwave) (Not worth the price ) ( it whas not eatable) I RECOMMEND TO GO TO A OTHER RESTAURANT ( where they are actually nice and where they will actually give u...

So this little quaint restaurant in Sagres is beautifully decorated and run by a great host.

The Sagres beer (local) and fruit smoothie were perfect. The garlic here was made with fresh garlic and I can honestly say it was the tastiest garlic bread I have eaten in my life!

The only let down here was in the actual pizza which was made with love and fresh ingredients but was just overloaded with too many toppings making it a little soggy in the centre from being so overloaded. With a little less toppings it would have been perfect with the ingredients being used.

I would have given a 4.5 rating if Google...

Ich bin auf einer Spaghetti Carbonara Mission, weil ich diese sehr gerne hab. Schon die Spaghetti Carbonara meiner deutschen Mutter waren bestimmt nicht schlecht. Demnach bin ich in die "Pizzaria Columbu's", um hier die Carbonara zu probieren. Preislich über 12€ angesiedelt, ließ entweder eine gute Qualität oder eine Touri-Falle vermuten. Der Schoko-Milchshake kam gleich kaltem Kakao, jedoch cremiger. Sehr solide und ein guter Anfang. Der Speck meiner Carbonara war knusprig angebraten und hinterließ sein Aroma im Gesamtarrangement der Soße. Parmesan wurde mir eher verwehrt, da dieser auf einer Carbonara nichts zu suchen habe. Ich willigte ein und verzichtete: Beiderseits sehr gekonnt. Irgendwie gefiel mir die Soße. Sehr eiig gelb. Und dennoch ließ ich die Köchin kommen, um mich näher zu informieren. Diese sprach weder deutsch, noch englisch oder gar italienisch. Der Wirt und Kellner bestätigte, das Sahne ( "cream") mit in der Soße sei. Er ist Portugiese. Ich bekundete mein Gefallen. Bzgl. der Carbonara. Sicherlich nicht die beste Carbonara, die ich bisher je hatte, aber "molto delizioso". Oh ja!

Die ausschließliche Bargeldzahlung hier, empfinde ich alles andere als problematisch.

Ganz und gar keine Touri-Falle, sondern eine Empfehlung! Auch die Pizza soll sehr gut sein, d.h., die Spezialität des Hauses - so der Wirt. Noch Tage danach muss ich an diese Carbonara denken. Seht und...
