I am representative of a well-known traditional food channel, and came here to some research into the Portuguese classic of chicken and rice (arroz de Capidela). I was a little dubious since I had just had a legendary version cooked for me in the heart of the countryside. However, this one was every bit as delicious, truly remarkable and no corners cut to produce that ummistakeable cabidela flavour and experience. Carmen and the waitress were so gracious and friendly. I was even offered a Freeport for the inconvenience of waiting at the bar for a couple of minutes!!!...

From the ambiance to the food, everything is just right. A really nice, quiet and humble place to spend the evening, eat good food and drink a good sangria. Traditional and pop music at the right volume, nice staff and a cosy place. The food speaks for itself. I have nothing to add. Worst experience I’ve had for a long time. Service was VERY SLOW, the time ftom starters to main was over 1.30hr. The servers brought out food before we had even ordered - where we assumed that they were complimentary, but they weren’t… then the starters weren’t great, and they even forgot some.
