Churrasqueira Ideal — Restaurant in Vila Real

During our holiday in Vila Real, we visited this restaurant two times. The first visit was from September 2023 and the last visit was in August 2024. There was not much change in price and quality. We are happy to spend our money here.

Pros Friendly and nice staff. Indoor seating, outdoor seating and balcão seating are available for the clients. You can dine-in our take-out food from this restaurant. The restaurant serves traditional Portuguese food with affordable prices and great quantities. We can take-out our food if we could not eat all the food. The service is okay. It did not take too long to wait. They are famous for the frango churrasco. It costs 6 euros of half chicken with rice and fried potatoes. You can pay for the food in cash or multibanco. We had la lunch here on our way to Douro Valley. I was really pleased about the hospitality. We wanted to order via images from G Maps, but the host insisted to speak on his phone with a friend who knew english and explained us the menu! Very kind! The food was really good. They serve half sizes - which is a lot! Makes me wonder how a full size plate looks? Who can eat that much? Prices are really good as well. Dia 16 ago às 11,30, fui ao rest. para pedir reserva de 1 feijoada take away. Responderam não ser necessário pois estava a sair. Às 11,50, entrei de novo e pedi o prato. Responderam que, primeiro, iam servir 100 feijoadas para os Bombeiros e só depois... Saí, mas entrei de novo às 12,10 para tentar, outra vez. Disseram para continuar a esperar. Mantive-me em espera junto à entrada da cozinha. Entretanto, chegaram 2 pessoas que também pediram feijoada (igualmente take away) e foram atendidas, enquanto eu, que assistia a tudo e pedi para contemplarem, em conjunto com eles o meu pedido, fui pura e simplesmente ignorado. Saí mal comigo, que Vos considero e me desrespeitais. O Vosso atendimento não está organizado, fica no lodo com facilidade e, com a mesma facilidade, ficais em modo de arrogância e desrespeito com os clientes, utilizando arbitrariedade e discriminação . É inaceitável a prática deste atendimento nos dias de hoje e não basta que não precisem de mim para continuarem, alegremente. Há um mercado e regras de serviço público que devem ser respeitadas.
