Al Khaima Restaurant — Restaurant in Doha

Poor service unless you are arab. A lot of unnecessary attitude towards Indian/Pakistanis. I have two bad experiences now. First time I ordered mix grill and he asked, with or without mutton chops? (To which any normal person would think a plate of mixed grill with some mutton chops in it). They served me a full plate of mutton chops and nothing else. I asked him where is the mix grill? I was told I ordered mutton chops only and I have to order mix grill again. 😀 Second time I ordered mix grill again and this time I said no to the chops question. 💡 He served mixed grill which only had mutton kofta and chicken boti… Seriously? Also asked for bread to 2 separate people and then asked the manager after 10 minutes. He said in a loud screaming voice, “Few Minutes”, I asked again, sorry? “Wait a few minutes, we are busy”. More than half of their restaurant was empty as always. I waited and had to eat cold food. 😀 1 star is for their food which is okay! There are better options with well...

Nice food tasting..but the waiter or who took order should suggest quantity of food based on people and ages. Once again yesterday we went and experienced same issue and others. Not looking after the table. Ordered 3 portions of same item but all three are not the same some food missing. Need to wait so long to get additional item even waiting didn't work have call waiter who is passing by to order additional item. After ordering additional had to wait so long eventually need to cancel because took so long and maybe they didn't inform to kitchen. The transperancy of billing is not good at all. Need to go to cashier even we didn't know the table number as table number not displayed, the staff at cashier just reading items ordered which can't understood and maybe you are paying to someone else's orders or you are not paying what you didn't had it. Overall...

I went there for lunch, we ordered lamb neck on rice, the meat was great, tender and well done, the rice was really delicious. on the other hand we ordered Tajeen and it was below the expectation, salad we ordered Fattosh which wasn't as authentic as it should be while the yogurt with cucumber was nice. toilet as most of restaurant in Doha wasn't clean and you would find water all around the toilet, cleaning staff aren't as efficient and well trained as they should be, but that is a country problem, what is unacceptable for you is normal for locals. some of the people dining in have no consideration to people around them by playing YouTube videos load and the workers are afraid to tell them to stop what they were doing.
