Looking for the best Lebanese restaurant in Qatar? Look no further than Em Sherif Cafe. It is a perfect place to go as a group or even just a couple, So many dishes to choose from and lovely to share. I have been to it a few times already and each time the food was satisfying and delicious. Quick and friendly service from the waitstaff and hosts, one of the must visit places in Qatar.
My favorite dish that is a must order is their Fattoush salad, fresh and crunchy, with just the right amount of sweet and sour from the pomegranate molasses. Also their super creamy Hummus is a must order, you can get it plain or topped with minced beef or Ras Asfour, both types are really nice, especially served with their fluffy hot fresh bread. For the hot appetizers, I recommend the fried Meat Kibbeh and the Sambousik, both filled with meat and pine nuts. A unique dish is their chicken liver served in a garlic and coriander sauce, which is different from what we are used to when it's usually a bit sweet and sour with pomegranate molasses. Their Batata Harra were okay, fried potatoes cooked in some chilli and garlic. Another nice option is their Lahme Ras Asfour, super tender meat cubes served in the pomegranate molasses.
For the main course, I recommend trying their Plat de Jour (Daily Dish) which changes everyday and is enough for 2 people. Other dishes that are nice to try is their Chicken Msakhan Plate, tender chicken cooked in lots of onion and sumac, a bit sweet and sour. They also have sandwiches stuffed with their different grilled items. I really liked thier Boneless Baby Chicken Sandwich, tender and charred pieces of chicken served with their spicy sauce and pickles, a hearty meal.
You cannot end your meal just there, you need to order one of their desserts. I really like their ice cream, served half vanilla and half chocolate with a couple of ice cream cones on top to share. Also their Cotton Candy served with Arabic ice cream in the middle.

Read moreI visited em sherif cafe at Millennium Hotel Alsad with my husband .It was my first time visit yesterday on 19-02-2023 . I wanted to have some thing light first like latte and Croissant and then followed by lunch . And I explained to the waiter that I just woke up and want to eat that . The waiter seems uninterested and replied “we don’t have”. He has zero hospitality skills how to deny or how to give alternative options . However my husband placed an order for lunch . He just brought food and throw it on our table ,no smile no thank you or sorry nothing .he never greeted us he didn’t even guided us about the other options they have however I found on google that they have atrium cafe upstairs in the same hotel and waiter was aware about it but when I asked him you could have told us that you have another cafe . He said sorry I can’t hear you . . On the other side I saw their supervisor taking feed back from the customers next table but he never showed up in our table . It was really pathetic experience and...
Read moreI have visited the restaurant after hearing alot about it from Lebanon and Qatar. The restaurant itself looks fabulous, neat and clean, the waiters are super friendly, the presentation of food looks good, they have indoors and outdoor as well. The parking in the Hotel is little bit challenging for its small entrance. Overall the restaurant looked very good, However i was surprised by the Quality of the food that was served, for me it was below average. Bbq Tawouk and bbq Beef were very dry, bbq Kufta tasted average, Garlic paste was tasteless, Mutabbal was lacking strong taste as well (needed more ingredients), hummus was average, fattoush was amazing , one of the best i have ever tasted. Other things tried were average as well Overall, the experience was ok, but not going there again , since the restaurants' competition in Qatar is high and this food quality doesn't qualify to compete with...
