Baladna has to be one of the best restaurants that I have ever visited in my life. Located in Pearl Qatar, the restaurant offers a premium fine dining experience. One can expect waiting queues at their outlet.
I went there for brunch with my pal. We tried out their signature platter. It was sensational. The platter had around 15 items ranging from Hummus, Labneh, Assorted varieties of Cheese, Olives, Pit bread, Omelette with saffron vermicelli and what not. Sufficient for 2-3 people.
It was a wholesome meal. I have to say that I was up for a treat. The staff was excellent. They helped me in understanding a bit more about their food and the culture. One can also purchase Baladna's in-house products as they have a small kiosk for picking up essential items like Cheese, Juices, Ayran etc.
I would definitely recommend you guys to visit them whenever you visit Doha....
Read moreFirst of all, I was disappointed when I had food in this place for first time. And me and family had bad time with stomach after eating.
Secondly, service was very poor, and no one noticed me at the empty reception , even waiters shows much less experience in what they are doing and know nothing about handling orders and delivery.
Thirdly, wooden tables was not deep cleaned and anything sticks on it like there was some strong glue, so keep your belongings off tables.
Also, we had to wait for long time to find an empty table inside the place with careless service of not being noticed as a customer.
Although, food prices and service is over rated than what you get.
Finally, nearby parking is limited, so you have to park you car away in the back side of the building.
This is a real experience of mine, and I won't visit this...
Read moreAmong my visits to Qatar, this was the first time I went to a Lebanese restaurant. If you enjoy sweet-flavored dishes like I do, you should definitely give this restaurant a chance. We went there for breakfast, and the stuffed vine leaves with pomegranate and the pomegranate sauce were amazing. Especially the pomegranate sausage was an incredible recipe.
I think the breakfast portion was too much, even for two people—we couldn’t finish it all. The cheese varieties were very fresh, and the olives had a perfectly balanced brine. I’m happy that we had such a delicious breakfast on the first day of Eid.
We sat outside, but the interior design was also beautiful—spacious and smelled great. The restrooms were very clean. A special thanks to Mr. Zaher for his fast service and attentiveness. We will...
